Why Pheasant Tails? They imitate everything! The smaller patterns are great mayfly imitations, the mid sizes are a decent for caddis pupa and the larger size 12's and 10's will fool fish as a stone. So many bug species have brown nymphs.....these are brown, so they just work. Match your size, and most importantly get your depth right.
