A must have attractor pattern for me on the Bow and in our mountain streams. I've used this effectively as a Skwala or Golden Stone nymph in larger sizes and as a Back Swimmer in the fall. In smaller sizes it's a great summer pattern fished on a nymph rig or as a dropper. You can throw this classic on just about anywhere and hook a few. Depending on what bugs are in the water, some movement on this fly can produce a strike. A backswimmer as an example, is darting around the current so give that rod tip a twitch.
