40 Dry Fly Pack $24.95
This one is a good basic dry fly pack with your average work horse patterns. Size is always critical along with your presentation skills. When we're guiding, we want our guests in position to cast with no drag, which usually means a nearly straight up stream cast so we're not crossing current seams. Secondly, size is key. If we don't get a strike on a really good cast, we'll size down on the same pattern. This is a common progression and it produces results. Often times on rising fish, you're seeing the top of the head and back, not the mouth. If you can identify this, try trailing an emerger behind your dry....Often a similar pattern just below the surface is the magic button to make them eat your fly. We've got two basic emergers here in the CDC Foam (mayfly) and the Tied Down Caddis (Caddis).
