Mayflies are everywhere and a major food source for trout.  There are over 3000 species of Mayfly but we’re going to focus on only two common hatches in our Bow River Watershed, Pale Morning Dun (PMD) and Blue Winged Olive or Baetis (BWO).  Behaviours and Fishing Techniques for most mayfly species are easily transferable.
