We love this little gem on the Bow River. I use it with either the bead version or without on a double fly deep rig. 6 of each version offered here in sizes 4, 6, 8. The way this is tied makes the hook size less important than with other patterns. You'll get tire of hearing this, but the right depth is critical with any nymph or sub surface pattern. This is one of those bugs that seems to work well when it's been beat up a little, so let it ride!
